Notice to Overseas Buyers: Registration Guide for the 137th Canton Fair

The 137th China Import and Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the “Canton Fair”) will grandly open on April 15, 2025. We cordially welcome your participation!

Important Notes for Overseas Buyers:

• Buyer Badge Required: All overseas visitors must hold a valid Buyer Badge for entry.
• Multi-Session Validity: Your Buyer Badge remains valid for multiple sessions—please keep it securely.
• New QR-Code Badge Implemented: To enhance your experience, we have fully upgraded to a new QR-code-enabled Buyer Badge.
• Free Replacement for Legacy Badges: Holders of previous-version badges may exchange them free of charge for the new QR-code version. Upon issuance of your new badge, all previously issued buyer badges will be automatically deactivated.

To streamline your entry process, we recommend completing pre-registration (pre-application for badges) before arriving at the exhibition venue. You may obtain your Buyer Badge at any of our remote pre-registration centers, including:

• Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport
• Guangzhou South Railway Station
• Pazhou Hong Kong-Macao Passenger Terminal
• Designated Canton Fair Hotels
• Canton Fair Hong Kong Office

Upon pre-registration, you will receive a Buyer Badge QR Code, allowing for quick verification and avoiding long wait times at on-site registration counters.

I. Eligibility for Buyer Badge Application

Overseas buyers holding any one of the following original documents may apply for a Canton Fair Buyer Badge:

• Foreign passport
• Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents
• Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents
• Chinese passport + overseas permanent residency card/valid visa (Note: Overseas Chinese buyers without a Chinese resident ID card are eligible.)

II. Required Documents for Badge Application

(1) Valid Personal ID Documents
Applicants must present one of the following original, valid identification documents:

• Foreign passport
• Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents
• Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents
• Overseas Chinese identification: Original Chinese passport + original overseas permanent residency card or original permanent residence visa

(2) Business Card
A company business card is required for verification purposes.

III. Badge Application Locations

The Canton Fair badge application service is available at remote application centers and on-site application centers, each serving different types of applicants:

(1) Remote Application Centers (Overseas Buyer Registration Counters)

Eligible Applicants:
Only for buyers holding:

• Foreign passports
• Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong & Macao Residents
• Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan Residents

(Note: Buyers holding Chinese passports + overseas permanent residency cards/visas must apply at on-site centers.)

Locations & Operating Hours:

1. Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport
   1. Location 1: T1 Terminal, Int’l Arrival Hall, Exit A7
   1. Location 2: T2 Terminal, Int’l Arrival Hall (Temporary Counter)
   1. Hours: Apr 12 – May 2, 08:00–24:00
   1. Overnight Service: Apr 14–15, 22–23, Apr 30–May 1 (24-hour service)
2. Guangzhou South Railway Station
   1. Location: East/West Gate Service Counters, 1st Floor
   1. Hours: Apr 13–16, 21–24, Apr 30–May 2, 10:00–21:00
3. Pazhou Hong Kong-Macao Ferry Terminal
   1. Location: 3rd Floor, Immigration Area
   1. Hours: Apr 14–18, 22–26, Apr 30–May 2, 10:00–20:00
4. Canton Fair Hong Kong Office
   1. Location: Room 3106-3107, Office Tower, Convention Plaza, 1 Harbour Road, Wan Chai
   1. Hours: Weekdays year-round, 10:00–12:30 & 14:00–17:00
5. 69 Designated Hotels (See attached list for details)

(2) On-Site Application Centers (Exhibition Venue)

1. Eligible Applicants:
All categories of international buyers and purchasing representatives.

2.Daytime Locations & Hours:

• Zone D Counter: Exit A, Xingangdong Station (Metro Line 8)
• Zone B Counter: Exit A/B, Pazhou Station (Metro Lines 8/11)
• Zone C Counter: Exit C, Pazhou Station (Metro Lines 8/11)

3.Night Service Locations & Hours:

• Zone C (Only): Apr 12–14, 18:00–07:00 (next day)

IV. Buyer Badge Application Process

Step 1: Complete Pre-registration
Obtain your Buyer Badge Registration Code through pre-registration.

Step 2: Apply for Buyer Badge
Applicants holding original documents (foreign passport/Mainland Travel Permit for HK & Macao/Taiwan residents) with a valid registration code may choose either:

1. Self-Service Kiosk
   1. Place the information page of your ID document on the scanner for automatic verification.
   1. Upon approval, your badge will be printed instantly.
2. Manual Counter Service
   1. Present your original ID document + registration code at the service counter.

Special Note:
Buyers holding Chinese passport + overseas permanent residency card/visa must process applications exclusively at manual counters for document verification.

V. Buyer Badge Fees

Free of charge – includes new applications, replacements, and badge renewals.

VI. Badge Application and Usage Regulations

(1) Official Channels Only
The Canton Fair has never authorized any third-party agencies or individuals to handle badge applications. No additional fees will be charged beyond the officially published standards. Participants must obtain badges exclusively through official channels to avoid fraud.

(2) Applicant Responsibility

• All applicants must adhere to the “applicant-responsible” and “user-responsible” principles.
• Submission of authentic documentation is mandatory.
• Compliance with onsite management and fair regulations is required.

(3) One-Person-One-Badge Policy

• Each attendee may hold only one valid badge per session.
• Badges are strictly non-transferable and permit only activities relevant to the badge type.
• Badges serve solely as access credentials for the exhibition venue, with no additional legal validity.

(4) Proper Badge Usage

• Must be visibly worn at all times within the venue (photo side facing outward).
• Prohibited actions:
  ✓ Reselling, lending, forging, or altering badges
  ✓ Using inactive, invalid, or expired badges
  ✓ Borrowing/stolen badge usage
• Lost badges must be reported immediately to the Badge Service Center.

(5) Violation Penalties
Violators will be penalized per “China Import and Export Fair Rules for Handling Non-Compliant Personnel and Vehicle Credentials (Trial)”.

1. For hotels marked with ● in the list above, registration services on April 14, 22, and 30 will be extended until 7:00 the next day.
