On February 16th and 17th, the promotion event for the 137th Canton Fair was successfully held in Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with over 130 participants, including representatives from local business organizations, enterprises, and the media.
Ma Fengmin, Deputy Director of the China Foreign Trade Center, stated at the promotion event that the Canton Fair provides a one-stop service platform for the global business community to trade products, exchange ideas, and harmonize rules. The 137th Canton Fair will open on April 15th, and Saudi enterprises are warmly invited to attend and exhibit. Through the Canton Fair platform, it aims to strengthen cooperation and achieve mutual development.

Wang Qimin, Consul General of China in Jeddah, He Song, Minister-Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia, Lu Ye, Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Consulate General of China in Jeddah, Anas, Vice President of the Saudi-China Business Council, Mahsin, Assistant Secretary-General of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, along with representatives from buyers and exhibitors, attended the promotion event and delivered speeches.
During the promotion in Saudi Arabia, the working group visited Saco, a home furnishings retailer, and Bin Dawood, a diversified retail enterprise. They also observed the Big 5, one of Saudi Arabia’s premier industry exhibitions, and engaged in discussions with several exhibitors.
