Zhang Sihong, deputy secretary-general of the Canton Fair and deputy director of the China Foreign Trade Center, said that Dubai is the economic, financial, trade, tourism, logistics, exhibition, shipping and other centers of West Asia and North Africa, as well as a bridge connecting the economy and culture of the East and the West, which coincides with the positioning of the Canton Fair as a “bond of friendship and a bridge of trade”. It is hoped that the UAE business community will actively participate in the exhibition in April this year, release procurement needs, find exhibitors’ exhibits, carry out precise docking through the Canton Fair online platform on a daily basis, and use the Canton Fair as an all-round open platform to open up the Chinese and world markets.

Guo Xihong said in the research and exchange that he will accelerate the construction of a digital platform for high-quality Chinese source factory exhibition center + commodity inspection and customs clearance and distribution to serve the Middle East and North Africa, and actively help HC’s overseas customer groups and Canton Fair exhibitors to link NOON, Amazon, lazada, shoppe and other platforms, so as to better promote the dual circulation of commerce and trade between China and the Middle East, and the localization cooperation of manufacturing supply chain.
