
On March 3rd, the promotion event for the 137th Canton Fair was successfully held in Budapest, Hungary. Approximately 110 representatives from local business organizations, enterprises, and media attended the event.
Liu Xiaomin, Exhibition Director of China Foreign Trade Centre Group Co., Ltd., stated that the 137th Canton Fair is set to open in Guangzhou on April 15th. This session of the Canton Fair will continue to optimize the exhibitor and product lineup, enrich trade promotion activities, and enhance the convenience for participants. He expressed the hope that Hungarian buyers would make full use of the Canton Fair APP to register in advance, post their purchasing demands, and thereby improve procurement efficiency.
Attending and delivering speeches were Chen Yiwei, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary; Ernő, President of the Hungarian-Chinese Chamber of Economy; Horváth, Vice President of the Hungarian Association of Employers and Industrialists; Kovács Péter, Co-President of the Hungarian Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers; Tang Anzhe, former Deputy Consul General of the Hungarian Consulate General in Guangzhou; Gan Shengju, Representative of BYD President’s Office in Hungary; and Li Da, General Manager of Hainan Airlines Marketing Committee International Department Budapest Office.

During their stay in Hungary, the working group engaged in discussions with the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, the Hungarian-Chinese Chamber of Economy, the Hungarian Confederation of Employers and Industrialists, and the Hungarian Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers on various topics including promotional activities, organizing delegations to participate in the fair, supplier-buyer matchmaking, and local trade policies towards China. They also conducted a field study at the China-Europe Trade and Logistics Cooperation Park to gain insights into its functions, such as goods transportation and warehousing.
