On January 21, the promotion event for the 137th Canton Fair was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Su Bin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Canton Fair and Deputy Director-General of the China Foreign Trade Centre, emphasized that Vietnam is one of the major source countries for Canton Fair buyers, with significant market potential. He stated that the 137th Canton Fair will implement further improvements in exhibition themes, exhibitor offerings, supporting activities, and participation services, extending a warm invitation to Vietnamese enterprises for active participation. Su also highlighted the Canton Fair App as a milestone in the Fair’s digital transformation, providing an integrated online and offline experience for participants. The platform ensures uninterrupted, year-round supply-demand matchmaking services, fostering deeper engagement between Chinese and international enterprises.

The event was attended by Wei Huaxiang, Chinese Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, and Vo Tan Thanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), both of whom delivered insightful speeches. Representatives from prominent organizations, including procurement companies like So Viet Phuc Import-Export Company, exhibitors such as SUMEC Group, strategic partners like PingPong Digital Services, as well as supporting organizations such as the Bank of China and China Southern Airlines, shared their experiences and perspectives.

During the visit, the working group engaged in in-depth consultations with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, VCCI, and the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre to establish closer partnerships and encourage Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the Canton Fair. In addition, the team conducted on-site inspections of the Hanoi International Exhibition Center and Coopmart, a leading retail chain in Vietnam.
期间，工作组与越南工贸部贸促局、越南工商会、胡志明市投资贸易促进中心就建立合作关系，推动越南企业参会进行深入交流；并实地调研河内国际会展中心和零售巨头Coopmart。
