Driven by the tide of globalization, Guangdong’s auto parts and accessories industry is seizing unprecedented opportunities to expand internationally. The Guangdong Auto Parts and Accessories Cross-Border Export Series, organized by the Guangzhou International Auto Show Organizing Committee and hosted by Guangzhou Trade Fair Economic Development Co., Ltd., in partnership with the Baiyun Cross-Border Promotion Association, officially kicked off on November 15 at Forum Area 19.1 in Zone D of the Canton Fair Complex. This event aims to unite industry forces to explore new cross-border export pathways and elevate Guangdong’s auto parts industry to higher levels of development.
1:Gathering of Distinguished Guests for a Grand Event
The event welcomed an impressive lineup of attendees, including Peng Kejian, Deputy Director of the International Trade and Economic Development Center of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce; Xia Xin, Assistant Economist at the International Trade and Economic Development Center; Ling Quan, Deputy Director of the E-commerce Division of the Guangzhou Bureau of Commerce; Wu Yingdan, Chairman and General Manager of Guangzhou Trade Fair Economic Development Co., Ltd.; Xie Huina, Secretary-General of the Baiyun District Cross-Border E-commerce and Logistics Industry Promotion Association and Vice President of Guangdong Topway Skysea Technology Co., Ltd.; along with presidents of various Guangdong chambers of commerce and leaders of prominent auto parts enterprises. Cross-border e-commerce platforms were also in attendance, joining forces to help Chinese auto parts and accessories businesses seize global opportunities.
2:Inspiring Speeches and a Vision for the Future
The event began with warm welcomes from the organizers to all participants. Speeches by Peng Kejian, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce’s International Trade and Economic Development Center, and Wu Yingdan, Chairman and General Manager of Guangzhou Trade Fair Economic Development Co., Ltd., emphasized the robust support for the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce.
3:Establishment of the Alliance to Empower the Market
Witnessed by all distinguished guests, the “Guangdong Auto Parts and Accessories Cross-Border Export Alliance” was officially established, aiming to empower China’s auto parts industry to tap into the trillion-dollar global market. Peng Kejian and Ling Quan presented plaques.Representatives from the 14 founding members of the alliance, including Baiyun District Cross-Border E-commerce and Logistics Industry Promotion Association, Guangdong Topway Skysea Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Trade Fair Economic Development Co., Ltd., the Guangdong Auto Parts and Accessories Industry Chamber of Commerce, took the stage to receive honors.
4: Roundtable Forum for Idea Exchange
The event featured a roundtable forum with esteemed panelists, including Li Liquan, President of the Guangdong Auto Parts and Accessories Industry Chamber of Commerce; Pan Jinsong, President of the Guangdong Auto Accessories Chamber of Commerce; Pan Tugui, President of the Guangzhou Yuexiu District Auto Accessories Chamber of Commerce; He Jiakang, Director of the Guangdong Iweike Automotive Culture Club; and Wang Junwei, representative of the Global Auto Parts Procurement Hub. Panelists shared insights and experiences on cross-border expansion for auto parts and accessories, answered audience questions, and provided clear development strategies for Chinese auto parts enterprises.
5:Exhibition Tour and In-Depth Exchanges
Alliance representatives guided the leaders and guests through the exhibition halls, showcasing key enterprises and the latest automotive parts and accessories technologies, from smart navigation systems to energy-efficient components. During the free exchange session, attendees engaged with peers, potential customers, and partners to explore collaboration opportunities and discover new cross-border pathways.
6:Moving Forward Together for a Shared Future
With the successful conclusion of the opening ceremony of the Guangdong Auto Parts and Accessories Cross-Border Export Series, the Baiyun Cross-Border Promotion Association pledged to continue building a comprehensive “one-stop” cross-border ecosystem for the auto parts industry. This initiative aims to drive the transformation and upgrading of the traditional auto parts industry, promoting the global success of products made in Baiyun, Guangzhou, and China.
