Common Pipeline and Road Design and Construction in Area A of the Macao New Town Reclamation Area – North and Central Districts
The project is located in the reclamation area of Macau New Town, with a length of about 3.9 kilometers. According to the plan, a total length of 6.5 kilometers of common pipelines will be built under the main main road in Area A of Macao New Town, forming a circular layout around Area A of the New Town Reclamation Area, and laying public facilities including power supply, water pipes, reclaimed water pipes and communication networks in the underground common pipeline, so as to realize the intensive management and efficient laying of the underground pipe network.
1.Overview of waterproofing engineering
The common pipeline adopts a cast-in-place reinforced concrete rectangular frame structure, which is constructed by open cut method and has a fully enclosed waterproof design. Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) waterproofing membrane is used as the waterproofing layer for the waterproofing works of the underground pipe floor, exterior wall and roof.
