With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, the decoration standards of every household are also constantly improving, and high standard and high-grade decoration materials are emerging one after another. Ceramic tiles are the preferred decorative layer for kitchen and bathroom walls and living room floors, with increasing sizes, lower water absorption, and denser materials. Due to the diverse types and sizes of ceramic tiles in the construction market, there are also a variety of ceramic tile bonding materials available. Choosing materials that are both safe and economical is the common expectation of all consumers.
According to current standards and specifications, ceramic tile adhesive is mainly divided into two levels: C1 and C2. Glazed tiles (water soaked tiles) of 600 * 600 and below on the market can be directly bonded with Dongfang Yuhong Huasha C1 level (TA-S100 and TA-S102) ceramic tile adhesive.
For the increasingly frequent occurrence of low water absorption vitrified tiles, due to their denser nature, direct bonding with tile adhesive is not effective. We also provide matching materials for vitrified tile adhesive backing, which can greatly increase the bonding strength between tiles and tile adhesive by applying 1mm thick backing adhesive on the back of tiles one day in advance. After such treatment, glazed tiles with dimensions of 600 * 600 and below can be bonded with Dongfang Yuhong Huasha C1 grade (TA-S100 and TA-S102) tile adhesive. For glazed tiles larger than 600 * 600, after being treated with Huasha Huasha tile adhesive, Dongfang Yuhong Huasha C2 grade (TA-S106 and TA-S115) tile adhesive can be used for bonding. Choosing according to this idea can ensure both economy and safety.
